The recovery process

How a spent stream becomes certified solvent

The schematic below is the actual route material takes through the Meerut plant: five stages, each documented, assayed, and accountable.

  1. Intake & assay

Spent solvent streams are sampled and lab-assayed so recovery routes and yields are agreed before processing begins.

  2. Pre-treatment

Filtration and phase separation remove solids, water, and gross contaminants ahead of the columns.

  3. Fractional distillation

Fractionation columns separate compounds by boiling point with precision temperature control.

  4. Quality certification

Every recovered batch is tested against agreed purity specs and shipped with its Certificate of Analysis.

  5. Return to industry

Near-virgin solvent goes back into your process or our distribution, closing the loop on hazardous waste.

Chemical portfolio

Fifteen chemicals, recovered and distilled

Every compound below is processed in Meerut with batch-level quality certification. Custom recovery programs are available for streams not listed.

Toluene

C7H8

An aromatic hydrocarbon widely used as an industrial solvent and precursor to other chemicals.

Xylene

C8H10

A clear, versatile solvent utilized extensively in the printing, rubber, and leather industries.

Heptane

C7H16

A non-polar solvent used safely in laboratories and as the reference standard for octane rating.

Hexene

C6H12

A higher olefin used primarily as a comonomer in the production of high-performance polyethylene.

Ethyl Acetate

C4H8O2

A fast-evaporating ester used in fast-drying glues, coatings, and decaffeination processes.

Methanol (Recovered)

CH3OH

Industrial methanol recovered and distilled for chemical synthesis, resins, and antifreeze applications.

Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)

C3H8O

A rapidly evaporating solvent crucial to the medical, cosmetic, and personal care sectors.

Acetone

C3H6O

A highly volatile solvent used for heavy-duty cleaning and plastics manufacturing.

Butyl Acetate

C6H12O2

A medium-evaporating solvent used extensively in high-gloss lacquers and artificial leather.

Butyl Cellosolve

C6H14O2

A glycol ether with excellent solvency, used primarily in waterborne coating systems.

Methylene Dichloride (MDC)

CH2Cl2

A high-strength degreasing and paint-stripping solvent handled under strict safety protocols.

Chloroform

CHCl3

A dense, volatile liquid used primarily as a precursor to advanced fluoropolymers such as PTFE.

Thinner NC

A specialized nitrocellulose thinner formulated for seamlessly reducing lacquers.

Multipurpose Thinner

A balanced solvent blend designed for cleaning and thinning a wide range of industrial paints.

PU Thinner

A polyurethane thinner engineered to reduce PU paints without compromising the final gloss finish.

Environmental impact

Every litre recovered is a litre that never becomes waste

Industrial solvents are among the most expensive waste streams to dispose of responsibly, and among the most damaging when handled badly. Recovery rewrites that equation: lower disposal costs, lower procurement costs, and a materially smaller environmental footprint.

  • Hazardous waste diverted Spent solvents re-enter production instead of incineration or landfill.
  • Lower lifecycle emissions Recovery requires a fraction of the energy of virgin synthesis.
  • Closed-loop partnerships Tolling programs return your own recovered solvent to your own line.
  • Audit-ready documentation COA and recovery records that satisfy regulators and auditors.
